The Big Country
A play by Chris Barlow
Directed by Morgan Gould
Winner of the T. Schreiber New Works Project

About the play:

The Babbish family has been blown apart by death and disappointment, one son’s quest for true love in the jungles of Sri Lanka, and another son’s experimental surgery in Brazil. Now that they’ve reunited, each one of them has to face the realities they’ve been fleeing all these years– and just maybe make first contact with extra-terrestrials entities at a landfill in New Mexico while they’re at it.
